Whether you’re looking to lend your services as a volunteer or simply

enjoy the festivities, the African American Museum of Philadelphia (AAMP)

has a full day of fun on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Join in as the museum pays

homage to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through music, dance,

storytelling and much more.

For young adults:

12 pm: MLK Day Hip Hop Performance Workshop

For children (ages 6-13):

11 am - 1 pm: Arts & Crafts – Make your own coloring

book about Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement

11 am - 4 pm: Tracking the Dream Historical Scavenger Hunt

2 pm - 3 pm: Story Time with Keepers of the Culture
