Jaheim and his new release "Another Round"

Congratulations to Jaheim on the release of his new album. Ok, so I listen to alot of his old cuts like "I've Changed", "Fabulous" and "Never" on Heart and Soul and yes I digs the old albums. But when I heard 'I Aint Leaving Without You" I instantly began to jig to it. It reminded me of going to the roller skating rink and cutting up lol! When I heard it at my birthday party I knew it would be a hit! Now its an remix with Jadakiss (http://ow.ly/14z2M) adding some spice to it and I like it even more. "Finding My Way Back" is a soulful account of what a man is thinking about when he says "hey I not only want her back I need her back". I'm still taking in the new album. 2010 Census Is A Snapshot Of America. Of Us. Stand Up And Be Counted. For The Better.

WOW! I don't even remember the last census or the one before that. Was it our young age that left us out of the loop and unaware of how important of it was. Was it marketed to us to understand how important it was back then? Well, now we know. I hope we can all do our part in making sure we send it back to begin to continue to initiate change in the new decade. Click the picture to visit the 2010 Census website.

Super Bowl Forty Four -Twenty Ten -Congrats To The Saints!!!

Well, it was looking good for the Colts until that onside kick. I had a few z's during the top of the fourth when I woke up the Saints were on top and next thing you know the interception and that was it. I was entertained by The Who for the halftime show. Yes I am a CSI fan so I enjoyed that a bit. The commercials were semi entertaining lol! Here's a look at them all from Mashable.com

BET's SOS Hope For Haiti ='s A Star Studded Success

(Nas and Damien Marley)

Here's a recap Via: Startrakmusic.com

Queen Latifah, Pharrell and Diddy spearheaded BET’s “SOS Save Ourselves: Help for Haiti” telethon Friday night (February 5) at Miami’s American Airlines Arena, encouraging viewers to donate to the quake-ravaged island.

From the onset, the mood was upbeat, thanks to Wyclef Jean’s opening performance of “Hold On” with Mavado. ‘Clef — who told the audience he wanted to teach them “Creole 101″ — also brought out Haitian MCs to rap along. Later, he celebrated his homeland’s culture in an energetic mini-set that started off with him and Akon performing “Sweetest Girl.” ‘Clef then said since he was in Miami, he wanted to do a remix. Haitian singer Black Dada came out and started singing the hook to his single “I’mma Zoe.” Then, Wyclef’s artist Haitian Fresh came out. The performance ended with everyone waving Haitian flags. Chrisette Michele & The Neptunes

What a great collaboration! I always like the intro to "Epiphany" one of my favorite cuts from her last release. The intro reminds me of a Neptunes beat. She has such an amazing range allowing her to go from Jazz to RnB with so much soul. The possibilities with the track are endless. Check out an article about the studio session here: http://theneptunes.org/chrisette-michele-working-with-the-neptunes-for-3rd-studio-album
