There will be a roster of DJs, musical entertainment, dance performances, and celebrity emcees performing between shows to offer an experience that spans the art, fashion and music worlds. The Philadelphia Fashion Consortium Presents 21 Events in 17... Days
PHILADELPHIA, August 12, 2011- The Philadelphia Fashion Consortium announces the dates for the second annual 17…Days of Fashion from Friday, August 19th, 2011 through Sunday, September 4th, 2011. Various fashion related events will be held throughout the Delaware Valley in an attempt to unite the entire Philadelphia fashion community by providing a series of professional development workshops, specialized events, industry-related forums that will promote and enhance industry exposure, visibility, marketability, growth and profitability.
Retailers will have opportunities to offer attendees the chance to take exclusive runway-ready looks home. The Philadelphia community will have the opportunity to attend 21 events during the fashionable 17…days produced by local Philadelphia fashion designers, models, industry pioneers, trendsetters, rising and aspiring newcomers; and industry stakeholders in the Delaware Valley.
Philadelphia Fashion Consortium is a nonprofit organization with members in various segments of the fashion industry. Our members include designers, retailers, stylist, models and makeup artist. One desire of 17…Days of Fashion is to build a network of fashion minded professionals who aspire to strengthen their knowledge, expertise & exposure in the fashion industry.
The fashion lineup of events will include: Kick-Off Day Friday August 19, 2011Candy Coated in the Park, this will be a high profile fashion event transforming Philadelphia’s Love Park into a kids’ wonderland, Benefiting Shriners Hospital for Children. Also, 17…Days of Fashion & Candy Coated in the Park are Calling all Press to attend the Media Reception at the Love Park Visitor’s Center, from 5pm to 6pm. Saturday August 20, 2011, ACEREEL STUDIO, LLC ….will be presenting "THE HEART OF FASHION SHOW" A Full-Figured Fashion explosion where Art meets Fashion all to benefit a worthy cause “The Woman’s Heart Foundation”. Saturday August 27, 2011, Dress Barn will be partnering with D.i.M.e. Universal, LLC to premiere their Fall/Winter Collection. Wednesday August 24, 2011, in honoring 17...Days of Fashion, Blue Sole Shoes invites you to enjoy 17% off most regular priced shoes, socks and belts and 10% off new Fall arrivals, Thursday September 1, 2011, Nbeauty Inc Presents: Celebrities for Charity Fashion Show Red Carpet Event, Special Guest Celebrities: Charlie Baltimore & Jazmine Sullivan, Sunday September 4, 2011, Unique Memories Presents: The 6th Annual Philadelphia Music & Fashion Showcase.
